Today begins my life as an empty nester! I dropped Matt off at the airport this morning, and as I type this he's on a plane enroute to Paris, France, where he'll be spending the next 2 semesters doing a study abroad at the Catholic University in Paris. I'm really excited for him, I think he is going to enjoy this grand adventure!

Boy, do I remember that experience. My son went to London for the first semester of his sophomore year at Michigan State.
He liked it so much he ended up back there after graduation and stayed for 6 years!
Now he's in Japan and has been there for 1 1/2 years.
Those darned kids. You raise them to think independently and they leave ya!
